Add-ons installed with Affinity Photo don't appear installed with Designer

Hi,

I've installed Affinity Photo, opened my account and installed all the add-ons avalaible (offered and licensed).
Then I've installed Affinity Designer. In the Affinity Designer Account window, the add-ons need to be re-download. Why?

It's time consuming, Hard drive space consuming, and add-ons should be in a common place for all Affinity softwares.

Do I really need to redownload from Designer's account window or do I miss something?

Addons are not stored in a common location, but separately for each Affinity application. And yes, you have to reload it for each application.

This is a change our developers are hoping to make in a future update, as we do understand that multiple downloads for each app is certainly not the best use of resources on your machine. I'll be sure to 'bump' this development request with your post now - I hope this helps!

That would be fine ... IF they can come up with a way to make sure a problem created with one of them in one of the apps does not affect the other apps too.
