duplicate a layer in Affinity Photo ?

Simple question: How does one duplicate a layer in AFFINITY PHOTO ?????

Oh and if there's a tutorial on this, because there isn't one, please do put it in your response. 

Otherwise, assuming I find out how to do this I'll make one and post it. Because I spent the better portion of a half hour looking for what should be a simple operation but isn't. You can do this on the Desktop with a single click but clearly that operation is hidden somewhere!!!

If you long-press on the canvas while in the Photo persona, a context menu will pop up with ‘Duplicate’ as one of the options. ‘Duplicate’ is also the first option on the Commands (‘…’) menu.

I spent 5 seconds typing ‘duplicate layer' into the built in help files search engine and got this😁

You’ve highlighted a documentation bug! Two-finger tap means ‘Undo’ in recent versions of the iPad apps: as I mentioned in my previous post, you need to long-press instead.

I should have mentioned that I did try and do exactly what the documentation suggested, and it failed. That's why I searched....and got nowhere....

No doubt very frustrating, but it does offer two methods. The second method shown in help file actually works. 🙂
