Feature request: live preview while changing document size

Recommended Posts

Many times I'm working on variations of a design, then decide to pare down to a few favs. I then change doc size to remove dead space and constantly find myself wishing I could see changes to the drawing board as I type in the new dimensions. Is this already a thing and I missed it?

No.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

If using an Artboard and changing the size of that onscreen (by using the handles) is that not the same thing as you want to do?

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Artboard is different than the drawing board (or document size). I rarely use Artboard, unless I need to create a doc with several pages. I would rather adjust overall doc size and see live preview while changing the dimensions in Doc Setup.
