UrbnLgnd Posted August 16, 2021 Posted August 16, 2021 In Affinity Photo 1.10, just by selecting the white balance tool (without changing the temperature or the tint values) in the Develop Persona, the white balance of the photo changes (the picture turns more purple and blue). This is quite annoying when I'm already almost fine with the output of my camera and only want to apply very small adjustments. Has anybody experienced the same issue? Any way to solve it? Quote
Staff MEB Posted August 17, 2021 Staff Posted August 17, 2021 Hi @UrbnLgnd, Welcome to Affinity Forums Do you mind sharing a RAW file where this happens for you please? I can provide an upload link if you wish to keep the file private. It should just use the data provided by the file - enabling White Balance shouldn't change it unless you tweak the sliders. UrbnLgnd Posted August 30, 2021 Author Posted August 30, 2021 Hi @MEB, sorry for the late reply. For sure I can share a file, no problem! Thanks for your support! IMG_9720.CR3 MEB 1 Quote
Staff MEB Posted September 1, 2021 Staff Posted September 1, 2021 Hi @UrbnLgnd, No worries, thanks for the file. I see what you mean. That slight change is due to the mapping between the values set on the file and the White Balance (colour temperature +tint sliders) which isn't very precise. I've logged the issue to be looked at. Thanks for your report/support. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
UrbnLgnd Posted November 1, 2022 Author Posted November 1, 2022 Hi, do you know if this issue will be solved sooner or later? I find it more and more annoying and makes me think about dropping this software... Quote
