I finally did a conversion of a Designer file into Publisher.

Is it expected for Artboard guides to be discarded by Publisher during the conversion process to Pages?

After the conversion, using Designer to open the afpub file saved by Publisher the guides are still gone from the converted Artboards.  Also there is no Pages Studio widget in Designer (at least that I can find) so I am limited to viewing each Artboard (now Page) individually in Designer after the conversion.

Is there any way to export Guides from the Guides Manager as defined in Designer for application to a Page or Master Page in Publisher?  Right now I need to screenshot the Guides Manager in Designer and manually re-enter the settings into the Publisher Guides Manager.

Thank you!

Sorry, no idea.

There is a Page navigator on the lower left of your window, next to the Status Bar. There is no Page panel, and once you've converted the document there's little reason to go back to Designer, in my opinion.

No.

It looks like this:

The rightmost icon toggles between document & master pages & you can type in a page number in the center section to jump to any page.

Hi @Brad Steffen,

Welcome to the Affinity Forums :)

My apologies for the delayed response here, we are extremely busy following our 1.10 update and working from home during the pandemic is unfortunately extending our response window to be longer than normal, many thanks for your continued patience and understanding here.

I can confirm that I have been able to replicate this behaviour here, and I believe it to be a bug - therefore I'm getting this logged with our developers now to be investigated and fixed as soon as possible.

I hope this helps!
