Clayton King Posted August 13, 2021 Posted August 13, 2021 After updating to 1.10.0, a 20 page existing document began consistently crashing when a table of contents was updated using the update button in the TOC panel. This behavior was consistent and reproduceable by doing the toc update as noted. I downgraded to Publisher 1.9 and believe 1.10.0 has corrupted the file as the problem continues to exist. Saving the document as a new file causes the program to hang (i.e., Not Responding) rather than instantly close. I am working in Windows 10 Pro. I am running with three monitors, one of which is a 29" wide flatscreen. Also a wacom tablet as well as my mouse. None of this is new. Quote
MikeTO Posted August 13, 2021 Posted August 13, 2021 Just a suggestion, but you might want to try deleting the table of contents and then choosing Save As. Perhaps once it's removed things will be back to normal in 1.9.x.
