I am trying to apply text to the outside of a circle but no matter what I do it always gets applied to the inside of the path. I know its supposed to be that you click out side, it goes out side and if you click inside, it goes inside. However that is not working for me

I’m curious as to why you are not getting the expected behaviour.
Would you be able to record a video showing us what’s happening?
If you can’t record a video, would you be able to give us a full-screen screen-shot – which includes your Layers Panel with the circle layer selected – and annotate it showing the place where you are clicking to insert the text?
(Giving us the application version number would probably help too.)
