Ad [1.10.0.1127] Crashing when placing files (embedded)

Initially I have been having trouble reproducing this.. but finally successful in destroying Designer!

I have created a video of what was happening occasionally while placing files...

This time I have just added a video of it as requested.. in this thread

So

A. new file
B. Place image (Sketchbook pro file 2 layers exported as psd)
C. Edit the embedded file and return to Master file (repeat!)

had to play around with the embedded file a bit (crash occurs around 1 min mark!)
Seems to be going to crash when you get Black rectangles appearing in the imported file 

It is intermittent.....
Occurs outside locked layers

Thanks for the files and video. How often does this occur for you? I've been trying for a good while based on your video over several days, but unfortunately I'm still unable to reproduce the hanging that you're getting.

Maybe it is something else causing it... I can force it to fail quite frequently...I just did with the file attached..

I just tried using another file (same set up)..from Sketchbook Pro and saved as PSD....then placed....It crashed out on the third attempt.....

I have attached this one! as well..(inking not finished but again just a couple of layers!)

So

1. New file inc or create artboard (For the new file set to A2 or A3 as this drawing is a bit larger!)
2. Place Tree-infill7 (inside .zip)
3. Select layer Embedded to Edit embedded.
4. Move./scale/rotate (one or more of the nested .psd layers)
5. Go back to Master Original...Scale/Rotate in Master file
6. Repeat until fails (time varies!)

I will keep trying it to investigate a bit further...There is an issue somewhere! 

I modified the method/process a bit! managed to get it to crash 

NB
Sketchbook has been pretty consistent in importing (used it for years)..but they are in the process of re-working the app
(going commercial I believe). There was a small update but no major changes

Not running CL acceleration
Prefer embedded for new file active
Added set up image
included Prefs set up (just in case!)
