srg Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 Saving in TIFF AP v 1.10.0 often do not save with thumbnails. PS: I just realized that when I Air drop on my Mac Book Pro the dropped file shows the icon on the mac book... Quote
Mortimer Posted August 17, 2021 Posted August 17, 2021 SRG, I have experienced the same thumbnail non-save problem since the 1.10 update, but only when I attempt to save the file in HDR format. Jpeg and Gif work fine, however, I have yet to attempt a save in tiff format. I'm using an iMac 27, 2020, 2,1 Big Sur 11.5. Quote
Staff Gabe Posted August 19, 2021 Staff Posted August 19, 2021 Hi both, The thumbnail checbox in preferences only applies to native files (afphoto, afdesign, afpub). All other formats come with thumbnails (where supported). A file can't display a thumbnail if it's not there. So if one device shows it and one not, it's a local isolated issue. Quote
Celia at Grafted Works Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 I have this issue also on Mac desktop. In the screenshot, you can see a couple of older files with preview thumbnails and then two newer files with generic AD thumbnails. Is there a setting I need to change? Or does anyone know if this has been reported as a bug elsewhere? UPDATE I restarted my computer and now all my AD, APub, and APh files have preview thumbnails. srg Posted February 1, 2022 Author Posted February 1, 2022 I updated the OS and Affinity and never had that problem since. Quote
