Hello!

I've had this bug happen for a while on bigger projects with many layers (50+) that my computer has trouble running smoothly.

Sometimes, if I try to delete a layer by selecting it in the layer panel and either pressing delete or clicking the trashcan icon, another layer is deleted instead and the one I want gone stays intact. However, if I right-click the layer and click delete layer, it is deleted properly. I have made sure that the other layer is not also selected. I have also noticed that when this happens, the layer that is accidentally deleted is always the same, but it can happen while trying to delete different layers.

I don't know if this is related but last time this happened, the app crashed later and when I brought back the recovery file, it crashed over and over again specifically when I tried to bring back this deleted layer.

I cannot currently reproduce this bug, but I will screen-record it and add it to this post if it happens again.

Hello @kearow, welcome to the forums.

Can you please, tell more about the hardware you use (CPU, GPU, amount of RAM)? The screen-recording may help too. And a support stuff member will give you a private upload link for the file that causing the error.

Hi,

I am using a Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16 (Intel Core i7, NVIDIA Quadro P1000, 16 Gb RAM). The file is quite big, at 92,6 Mo, so this is testing the limits of my hardware. Of course this bug has not happened again since I reported it, so I cannot screen-record anything useful!

Thanks for the help.

I hope it's not bad etiquette to add to this after a couple weeks but this bug just happened again on a small file with everything running smoothly, so what I mentionned about file size can be cast aside. I still haven't been able to record this happening unfortunately.
