drgum8888 Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 When I install the new fonts, it'll only install in Photoshop which is also on my PC. How can I install the fonts in Affinity Photo as well? Thank you! Quote
Ron P. Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Where are you installing them? Windows default is in the Windows/Fonts folder. Affinity uses that folder, nothing specific, unless perhaps you're using a Font Manager. Quote Affinity Photo 2.5..; Affinity Designer 2.5..; Affinity Publisher 2.5..; Affinity2 Beta versions. I did this some years ago, because I had a font that did't show up in Indesigns font menu. So I installed it a second time - into Adobes own font folder - and that worked. As far as I remember there also have been some fonts from Adobe in that folder after I had installed InDesign, that didn't show up in other programs. That was long ago, I think on CS2. Don't know if it's the same in the Creative Cloud. But I think this wil not work with Affinity anyway. On Windows there are two fonts folders since at least Windows 10. The wellknown one in the Windows system folder and one in the user folder. I think that new fonts should be installed into the user fonts folder. But that wil happen automatically as far as I know if you install it by rightclick > Install. However, a font manager would be a good idea, because if you install to many fonts it can crash your system. Ron P. 1 Quote
