MarekGFX Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Hello, expand stroke command produces horrible paths (shown on attached video). Please, can you fix this asap? The app is literally unusable for professional logo creation or detailed exports for factory production. MarekGFX Posted August 10, 2021 Author Posted August 10, 2021 (edited) I found a way to make cleaner outline for those who experienced the problem --> we can use the Contour tool instead. But... there is something really wrong with the expand stroke. There shoud not be round corners or glitchy paths after expand when there is no roundness to the path. It was set to "Meter join" (sharp corners) – in video you shoud see sharp corners of the stroke before expanding The stroke expansion make weird round corners and a glitchy path. G13RL Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 It's weird, I don't get the same behaviour, the corners don't become rounded after "Expand Stroke". Video_2021-08-10_120422.wmv Quote

Video_2021-08-10_120422.wmv Yes, it is. I tried with different examples and it works just fine. But in this particular one it is a problem – unexpected behaviour. Staff Sean P Posted August 11, 2021 Staff Posted August 11, 2021 Hi MarekGFX, Would you be able to attach a copy of your document please? Boolean/Expand stroke issues are very specific so without the actual source files it can be almost impossible to reproduce or investigate. Quote
