Here is a small issue I run into, and I am not sure what is happening. I have a music graphic that I export from my music software as a SVG.

I open it in Designer, as I need to make a lot edits to it (remove some notes, change some spacing, remove some line, etc.). I place the SVG into a document. IT PLACES THE SVG AT THE SIZE OF THE ORIGINAL MUSIC. I double click it, make my adjustments, then go to the main document.

I now select the newly edited SVG, I export the selection only, and save the export as "Filename FINAL."

Now I go to Publisher to import my newly created file. I select the place tool and place it, AND THE FILE IS 100000000% BIGGER THAN THE ORIGINAL.

I am confused why the size changes going from one application to the other. Does anybody know why?

A few points:

1) I know I can import the SVG directly into Publisher and do the same thing, eliminating the 2 steps. The issue is I am having to make multiple edits along with having multiple graphics, for organization purposes it makes more sense for me to use Designer. Maybe I could edit my workflow, but for now I feel comfortable doing what I am doing.

2) I know I can look at the box dimensions in Designer and the create a picture box of the same size in Publisher and solve the issue all together.

The bigger question that I am curious about is why does it change in size so drastically?

Have you looked at the More... section of the export options and in particular the option to Set Viewbox unchecking this can yield better size results.
