caz16 Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 I've updated the new affinity photo version but it keeps crashing can some one tell me how do i go back to the previous 1.9 please Quote
John Rostron Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 You need firstly to uninstall 1.10, and then re-install 1.92. This should preserve most of any settings you have made. Note that 1.92 will not open any document saved by 1.10. John Quote Windows 11, Affinity Photo 2.4.2 Designer 2.4.2 and Publisher 2.4.2 (mainly Photo). CPU: Intel Core i5 8500 @ 3.00GHz. Actually, though it is unusual, it seems that 1.9.2 can open many documents saved by 1.10. Also, though uninstalling 1.10 will probably leave things like Assets, Brushes, etc. alone, it is also possible that when you reinstall 1.9.2 and run it for the first time, it will delete the Assets and Brushes, so those may need to be restored from a backup, too. Dan C Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 Hi @caz16, Welcome to the Affinity Forums! Have you been able to resolve this crashing behaviour, or successfully reverted to a previous version? Many thanks Quote
