creature Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 Hello! The "erase overlay" tool in the Develop Persona doesn't seem to work very well. If I try to erase a long stroke, it punches holes in the overlay rather than erasing a continuous path. I think this might be related to the brush size, as it's most noticeable with smaller sizes. Here's a video: I'm using Affinity Photo 1.10.0, but this bug was present in earlier versions too. My RAW file is from a Fuji X100S, but I've encountered it with other X-Trans RAWs as well. My OS is macOS Mojave (10.14.6) on an Intel-based Mac. This might have been previously reported – I wasn't checking CPU usage in this example, but often trying to use this tool makes my laptop fans spin up. AZBoiler's screenshot shows a similar "punched holes" effect in the mask. Quote
Staff MEB Posted August 9, 2021 Staff Posted August 9, 2021 Hi @creature, Thanks for your report. This is something we are already aware of. I've bumped the existing report to bring it up to developers attention again. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Marina2020 Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 Hello! I have the same problem as you. I use Affinity Photo v.1.10.1. on my MacBook Air with M1 chip running with Big Sur v.11.6. My Raw File is from Canon. I would appreciate some help. Quote
Staff MEB Posted September 22, 2021 Staff Posted September 22, 2021 Hi @Marina2020, Welcome to Affinity Forums A fix for this issue was submitted recently and is going through QA/testing (should be included in next Beta). Hold on a bit and hopefully it should then work fine. Thank you for your report/feedback. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
