Nita Reed
Hello, See example screenshot. This is a vector eps file downloaded from DepositPhotos. It does not open in Affinity Designer with layers...it opens as an "image"...how do I change this for editing?

That is probably not a pure vector EPS file, but one that was created by Adobe Illustrator (AI). If I'm right on that, your file requires Illustrator (or some other application, if any) that can interpret the proprietary data that AI has included within the file. The Affinity applications cannot process it, as they do not understand that proprietary data. I've done this with quite a few eps files, actually. I just thought I would ask since I have Designer but cannot seem to use for these... walt.farrell
Your best option is probably to use Photopea, and from there export as an SVG and then use that SVG in Designer. It probably won't be perfect, but may get you closer.
