walt.farrell Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 Please see the list of third-party software that is known to cause problems, which is located at the top of this forum: Several users recently have had problems with Nahimic, in particular (see the entry for Asus Sonic or MSI Nahimic). Chillmaster Posted August 8, 2021 Author Posted August 8, 2021 (edited) Thanks for pointing this out, Walt. I checked the specified programs. None of them run on my computer. Affinity Photo ran flawlessly in 1.9.2. Since the update to 1.10.0, no changes have been made to the software on my computer. Edited August 8, 2021 by Chillmaster Wrong version Quote
walt.farrell Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 You might also check whether you have the Nahimic service running, even if the software does not seem to be installed. To find them, you can click the Windows Start button, type services, and click on the entry in the search results. Chillmaster Posted August 8, 2021 Author Posted August 8, 2021 Sorry you are right! The "Nahimic service" was actually running on my computer. After I stopped this, the problem with the menu items that had disappeared was resolved. Thank you for the quick support! SPaceBar 1 Quote
walt.farrell Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 You're welcome. And thanks for letting us all know that it worked. Edit: Can you confirm that Windows did not show the Nahimic application installed, in the list of Apps in Windows Settings? walt.farrell Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 Yes. Thank you. That seems to confirm that parts of Nahimic can be installed without the application showing up visibly in the application list.
