oes25 Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 Trying to load a large file with a stack of images. The file is about 2GB. My video card memory fills up quickly (6GB on the card) and then the app crashes every time. Quote
Polymath Alchemist Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 I am also experiencing crashes when working with a large stack of images. However most of the components to the images are vector shapes. The file itself is less than 16 megs. The previous version of Affinity Photo was very stable with this many layers. This latest version (1.10.0.1127) is horribly unstable. I am just doing transforms to a group and it will crash to desktop. the groups are nested fairly deep for organization. It is disappointing that I upgraded. is there a way of downgrading without having to uninstall? Quote
Polymath Alchemist Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 I tried it and nope, you have to uninstall to install an older version. At least is is not crashing after two transforms anymore. 1.9.2.1035 seems much much more stable Quote
Staff Chris B Posted August 12, 2021 Staff Posted August 12, 2021 Please try disabling OpenCL from Preferences > Performance.
