sachinaddy Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 Hi. I have an Artboard size as 2100x2100 px. It has multiple small artworks placed at different places on the artwork. All are in separate layers. I want to export all those small artworks as 2100px x 2100px artwork size using export persona, but currently only the trimmed size of the PNG are exporting. please help. Wosven Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 Hi @sachinaddy In the Export persona, you can select layersand use the button "create slices", and later resize them. Or simply create them directly with the Slice tool: Or using the first method, if you use the transform panel, you can choosee the center point, lock the ratio H/W and add for example +20 pixels. Doing this on each slice will give same void around the objects. Quote
sachinaddy Posted August 7, 2021 Author Posted August 7, 2021 Hi. @Wosven I want to export/select all layers at once and export untrimmed version. I have more than 400 objects in a single file. Is there a way? Sachin Quote Eminence System : Our Digital Art Company : Portfolio
Wosven Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 For this (and since you export to PNG it's not a problem), you need to add a stroke, before creating the slices: With 0% opacity, it won't be displayed, but the slices will remain with extra space around and export accordingly. Quote
sachinaddy Posted August 7, 2021 Author Posted August 7, 2021 Please see my testfile. I want all these Layers exported as 2100px X 2100px size. Individually I'm able to do it, like setting W&H for each layers manually, but whenever I select two or more layers in slicing then I m unable to edit W&H in Transform tab. testfile.afphoto Quote Eminence System : Our Digital Art Company : Portfolio
Wosven Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 You'll have to manually resize or crop the groups with a square the size of the image you need: testfile_v2.afphoto Quote
sachinaddy Posted August 7, 2021 Author Posted August 7, 2021 Then its a tiring and time consuming job. Was expecting some sort of "Export Layers As File" without Trim option. So sad. Quote Eminence System : Our Digital Art Company : Portfolio
sachinaddy Posted August 7, 2021 Author Posted August 7, 2021 Somewhat like this, exported in seconds. Wosven 1 Quote Eminence System : Our Digital Art Company : Portfolio
Old Bruce Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 First make a copy to work on. This is a destructive Macro, load it from the Macro and save it to the library of your choice. Make a Rectangle with transparent fill and 1 pixel border (aligned to the outside) have it the same size as your canvas. Cut it out so it is on the clipboard. Select the bottommost layer and run this. Slices to Canvas Size 01.afmacro however many times. Again, this is destructive. Use a copy of the file.
