Komatös Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 Yes, if you use the programmes as a private person. If you use them as a company, you must purchase a separate licence for each device. david newby Posted August 6, 2021 Author Posted August 6, 2021 thank you. could you please advise me how to download it to my older MacBook? I'm very much a beginner but I'm learning slowly. thank you David newby Quote
Alfred Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, David. The single-user licence permits the licensee to install the software on any device that he or she owns or controls, as long as they’re on the same platform (Mac, Windows, or iPad). So if both of your laptops run either Windows or macOS you only need one licence, but if one is a Windows laptop and the other is a MacBook you would need an additional licence. Anyone in your household can use the apps for personal projects, but only you can use them for commercial work. If you purchased from the Mac App Store originally, you will open that Store on your MacBook (use the same Apple ID as on the other laptop) and install from there. If you purchased from Serif originally, open your account at the Affinity Store and download from there (https://affinity.store/account/downloads).
