WAS Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 (edited) The update process says that Windows Update will update it automatically, but this never took place. I went to investigate and found that Microsoft Store thinks Affinity Photo isn't even installed, but it won't let me install it (Install button just doesn't do anything). I tried all the microsoft store troubleshooting procedures, including uninstalling the store and reinstalling it. Last version installed was 1.9.2 which I think was the version I initially installed with Microsoft Store. Edited August 5, 2021 by WAS Quote
Staff Callum Posted August 9, 2021 Staff Posted August 9, 2021 Hi WAS, Please could you try uninstalling Affinity Photo and then try redownloading it from the MicrosoftStore this should install the latest version. If the install button still isn't working could you possible provide a screen recording demonstrating this issue? Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
WAS Posted August 9, 2021 Author Posted August 9, 2021 (edited) How do you uninstall it? Microsoft Store isn't listing it in Programs and Features, and no uninstall prompt in the store, and no Uninstall EXE provided in start. Edit: Found how to uninstall it. It's under "App & Features" under Windows Settings, not "Programs and Features". Really weird of Windows to separate these. An Application is a Program and vice versa. It seems to be installing the newest version. Edit 2: Yes it has installs 1.10, all is good. Edited August 9, 2021 by WAS Quote
