I'm not sure what happened here and if it's either only me, or a setting I did or whatever, but for some reason, if I want to erase something on a layer in Affinity Designer in the Photo profile, it actually acts as the brush tool. If I want to erase anything on a layer, I need to use the brush tool to erase.

Long story short, if I need to erase anything I need to use the brush tool. If I need to use the brush tool, I need to select the eraser tool.

I was using it just fine last night and then all of a sudden they got 'swapped'. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Weird...

Try rebooting, if it still doesn't work, please upload a video showing this in action (include the layers & colour panels in the video)

@G3AR3D

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums :)

Did you resolve this problem? (as you never got back to Carl123)
