h_starbullet
Hi, I'm on Affinity Photo version 1.9.2 and while using the Pen tool to cut something out of an image, I was realizing that it was auto-deleting nodes as I was creating them sometimes. I attached a video of me running into this exact problem several times. I looked all around the settings and through documentation for the software and whatnot and I couldn't find anything that related to it, not even on the forums as it relates to other people experiencing this issue. Is there any kind of workaround, or way to turn this off? Thanks. bandicam 2021-08-03 00-31-08-370.mp4

h_starbullet
Hi! I happen to have a Wacom Intuos S tablet offhand that I use with this software sometimes. (It's not plugged in right now.) Why do you ask? Edited August 4, 2021 by h_starbullet
Staff Dan C Posted August 5, 2021 Staff Share Posted August 5, 2021 Hi @h_starbullet, Welcome to the Affinity Forums The behaviour shown in your screen recording looks as though you may be double-clicking when creating certain nodes - as the first click creates the node, the second click on the same node converts the node to an 'end node', which is why the node turns red and the app begins a new line on the next node created. It may be worth checking the Affinity application using a different mouse, as the mouse you have currently may be 'phantom' double-clicking without your knowledge. I hope this clears things up! h_starbullet
I'll check stuff related to my mouse. I said I was gonna order a new one anyway, this one doesn't even have the like extra buttons I prefer. UPDATE: Uh-oh, looks like it's giving me the same issue with the trackpad. I don't remember this happening with my last mouse, at least. I should do some more troubleshooting, though.
