Trying to duplicate a channel: no right-click menu on Mac?

Hi there, if I control-click on a channel in the Channels palette, I was expecting to see a pop-up menu, but am not getting one.

I'm trying to duplicate a channel.

Right-clicking will give you a context menu on both the composite option and the pixel channels, the pixel channels appear if you rasterise an image layer or the layer you have selected is a pixel layer

Right-click usually will, control-click will or won't, depending on the exact spot you're clicking.
It's a bug.

On a Mac with trackpad, you can work around by making sure the "secondary click" is enabled in Trackpad preferences. Unlike ctrl-click, that should always work.
