Uploading styles to Affinity Designer on iPad

Hello all,

 

Apologies if this is has been covered recently, I've been searching and haven't found an exact answer that is anywhere near current to even reply to so figured I'd try here...

Long story short, I've been trying to upload the 'style' files that came with a design package I purchased, and so far the only solution I have seen/found is that you can only upload style files through affinity photo on iPad... Is this correct? I've been able to load brushes successfully, and I've tried all other work arounds posted here... But it seems that the only other thing I haven't tried is loading it through affinity photo, as I do not have the app. I am wondering if it's really going to require me to purchase another $20 app simply to load style files??

To import a *.afstyles file into Affinity Designer on iPad, open the Layer FX Studio (by tapping on the fx icon on the right-hand side of the screen) and then tap on the ‘Styles’ link at the bottom. Tap on the three-bar ‘hamburger’ menu icon, choose ‘Import Styles…’ and browse to the file that came with your design package.
