Custom Text Frame Border Line is Visible

Recommended Posts

I did search the site before asking, and there have been numerous questions and answers for similar issues. None that I found seemed to match the problem I'm having.

I create a shape with many nodes, converted it to a text frame, pasted in my text, exported to PDF, and the text frame is still visible. When I select the frame/shape in the Stroke panel, it says there is no Style or Width associated with the shape. Following advice on another post, I plugged in the Text Frame Panel and see there is no Fill or Stroke either.

Any ideas? It appears as a thin gray line, as if it had a hairline width.
