MissPennie Posted November 7, 2015 Share Posted November 7, 2015 Hi, All I am trying to do is to erase parts of an image like having an eraser. I have selected the erase background tool and pressing down on the mouse and going over the sections i want to erase but it is literally doing nothing. I have used what i thought is the exact same tool on photoshop and thought it wouls be the same in practice. I can't see how else to make it work I have gone into every single option. Staff MEB Posted November 7, 2015 Staff Share Posted November 7, 2015 Hi MissPennie, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Make sure you have the correct layer selected in the Layers panel. If it still doesn't work, right-click on the layer there and select Rasterise.... You should then be able to use the Background Erase Brush tool.
