Insert page 5 from 10 page pdf

Recommended Posts

Hi out there!

Please let me know if I am missing something, as I am sure it is an easy process to complete, but I haven't yet been able to find how to insert "page 5" from a 10 page pdf in to an image box or by using the place image tool yet.

I think you have to place the whole document and select the page you want from the context menu above the workspace.

You can duplicate the placed PDF layer and place it in other image frames.

Within Resources manager there is still only one instance of the PDF but now two references to it being linked.

I assume that you use Affinity Designer. If you insert a picture frame in Designer and select a PDF file, artboards are created from the PDF pages; as many as the PDF has pages.

If, on the other hand, you open a PDF via the open dialogue, you can choose whether you want to load all pages or only one or a subset.

The pages can then be easily copied into another document.
