Hi everybody!

I'll attach a short video because it may not be clear what I'm trying to figure out here.

My problem is: If I'm painting, and I would use the eraser tool "E" to correct some mistakes then switch back to my brush with the shortcut "B", it completely overrides the previously selected brush's settings with some cloudy version of it. (Its especially noticable with the Fine Fibers brush) Perhaps the brush I used gets unselected? I would doubt that because the flow of my brush stays the same after I switch back to it, signifying that I have the correct one selected still. If I click to select my brush again then it works as intended, but if that would be the only way to preserve its settings it would be very, very tedious to always have to click on it.
Any help is appreciated!

Steps to reproduce:
-Select the Paint Brush tool.
-Select "Watercolor" category.
-Select the "Fine Fibers" brush. (5th from the top)
-Draw a line.
-Select the Eraser tool.
-Select the Brush tool again.
-Draw a line like before.
-The two lines should look very different.

-Jordan

You can't see it in your video as your width is too small but if you click the arrow at the right end of the context toolbar for the brush you will see that Wet Edges is ON when you first select the brush from the Brush panel

When you select the Erase Tool then switch back to the Paint Brush Tool wet edges is probably now OFF

So now manually set Wet Edges back ON again in the context toolbar and it will now stay on when you switch tools

It's a known issue

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Thank you so much!

I tried to search for this issue but didn't have much success.
Sorry for potentially reposting a problem.
