What I'm doing is opening a file (might be a raw, might be a jpeg). I'll do a bit of editing and then export it as a jpg.

Is it possible to change the default export location? Ideally, I'd like to export to the location the file was opened from, but it appears that Aphoto defaults to exporting to the last folder a photo was exported to...

It's not currently possible to change, but it has been requested a number of times on the Forums, so may come in a future update.

A change in the default export folder has been requested time and again for at least 5-1/2 years.

At my age I am not expecting to see this improved in time to be useful to me.
