DavidJoons
I have searched for help on this but can't see the answer. Maybe it is too obvious! How do I control where the thing I am Pasting without Format ends up? It never ends up on the page I am working on. I then have to zoom to it and painstakingly drag it back into the page where it is needed. Intuitively it seems like I should be able to select something and paste it pretty much there, but I can't work out how to do that. I thought that pasting inside would be the solution, but it doesn't help.

Make sure you actually have the page selected as the current page, as that's where it will paste. For example, if you scroll in the Pages panel to find the target page, you need to double-click on the page in the panel to make it current. Or you need to click on the page itself. The Page Navigator (lower left, by the Status Bar) will confirm which spread is current. Or the gray outline (not the blue outline) in the Pages panel. DavidJoons
Oddly that doesn't seem to make a difference. However, I think I found the answer. I don't need to paste without format! If I just regular copy and paste from Affinity Designer, that plonks it right where I want it. Not sure why that didn't occur to me.. Thank you for your swift answer. walt.farrell
