color of ruler guide lines in Affinity Photo

Recommended Posts

I am looking for a place to change the color of ruler guide lines - I am aware how to change the color of column guide lines though.

I searched the manual but possibly did not find the correct section!?!

Any hint is appreciated

TIA

Barbara

It’s not currently possible (versions 1.9.x) to change the colour of the guides, but it has been requested many times:
https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/33920-change-guide-color/
https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/130621-different-colours-for-guides/

Etc. Etc.
A quick search of the forums will normally get you an answer.

Thanks for the links.

Please take my apologies -  obviously I searched with wrong key words - I did a search also in German but without any results.

That’s okay.
I sometimes think that it might be good if Serif could maintain a list of features which have been requested but not yet implemented, but then I quickly remember that such a list would be prohibitively large given the sheer number of requests that come in every day.

I assume this is a reference to 'Thread Starter', also sometimes called 'OP' (Original Poster) :)

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
