Lomolita Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 When I try to erase a background I keep getting a random square that appears on the image. The undo button doesn’t delete it, I’m wondering if I’m hitting something by mistake Quote
Dan C Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 Hi @Lomolita, Welcome to the Affinity Forums Can you please confirm for me: What iPad model are you using? What file format is this image? (Ie RAW, jpeg, PSD etc) Does this happen for every image, or only this one? If you restart the app, does this square disappear? Many thanks in advance! Quote
Lomolita Posted July 29, 2021 Author Posted July 29, 2021 Hi @Dan C thank you 🙂 I’m using an iPad Pro JPEG It happens every time I try to erase a background with the eraser tool I’ve tried restarting the app and the device and it’s still there Quote

As there are many iPad Pro models and we'd like to try testing this on the same device as you. 2 hours ago, Lomolita said: It happens every time I try to erase a background with the eraser tool Could you please provide a screen recording showing your full workflow for me, including importing the image into the Affinity app and then erasing? If you're unsure how to take a screen recording, please check out our FAQ linked below - Many thanks once again Quote
