Affinity photo on ipad, random square appearing

When I try to erase a background I keep getting a random square that appears on the image. The undo button doesn’t delete it, I’m wondering if I’m hitting something by mistake

Can you please confirm for me:

• What iPad model are you using?
• What file format is this image? (Ie RAW, jpeg, PSD etc)
• Does this happen for every image, or only this one?
• If you restart the app, does this square disappear?

I’m using an iPad Pro

It happens every time I try to erase a background with the eraser tool

I’ve tried restarting the app and the device and it’s still there

Apologies, can you please confirm the exact model of iPad Pro for me? As there are many iPad Pro models and we'd like to try testing this on the same device as you.

Could you please provide a screen recording showing your full workflow for me, including importing the image into the Affinity app and then erasing?
