elisahp Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 Hello, for some strange reason, Affinity Designer doesn't come up on my Finder or anywhere else on my computer. I bought it on the Mac App Store and the only way for me to use it is opening the App Store app, searching for Affinity Designer and then clicking open. I don't even have the option to download available. Could someone help? Quote
Staff stokerg Posted October 17, 2021 Staff Posted October 17, 2021 Hi @elisahpand Welcome to the Forums, Do you have a shortcut for Affinity in the Applications folder? Also, see if there is one in Launch Pad Quote
R C-R Posted October 17, 2021 Posted October 17, 2021 If you open the root level Applications folder in Finder, set the window View to List, & click the Name column, your installed apps should be listed alphabetically. So very near the top of the list you should see "Affinity Designer" if it is installed in that folder. If not, try this: Open AD via the Mac App Store "Open" button that works for you. Find the AD icon in the Dock. Right-click on that icon & from the list that pops up, choose Options > Show in Finder. In Finder's View menu, make sure "Hide Path Bar" is shown, meaning the path bar is not hidden. 4. In the Finder window that opens, note the path shown at the bottom of the window. If it is not "Macintosh HD > Applications > Affinity Designer" then what is it?
