Publisher 1.9.2.1035 for Windows

Publisher 1.9.3 for Mac

I drag a PDF into a document; it is set to Passthrough by default, as I want it. It displays correctly on the screen, using the embedded fonts instead of default system fonts.

But when I print it, it prints the exact same way as the interpreted version looks without the fonts installed. I previously thought it worked on Mac but not Windows, but tonight as I tried to nail down the behavior for my bug report, it failed equally on both platforms.

I can provide an example document, but as the PDF is a shipping label, I'd rather not post it publicly.

Hi @75thand Welcome to the Forums,

Could you try this in the latest Mac beta from here.  There was a bug where dragging a PDF from Finder onto a page and printing, caused it to print the PDF as interpreted and not Passthrough.  This appears from my checks, to be fixed in the beta.  I'm basing this from the Print Preview shown on screen when going to File>Print, if i try that in the release build the preview is clearly wrong, in the beta the preview is correct.  Sadly i can't do a test print as i don't have access to a printer here (we are still working from home)

It works! Print output from the current beta looks perfect. Thank you!
