Nadar Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 Hi 😉 I should like to brighten a part of hair in a portrait to get some details in it. Is there a way to do it with a mask as a brush ? I mean to paint a mask in a part of hair with a brush that creates red aeras to see where I work. The idea is not to need a selection to go faster. Here is a screen shot of the idea with Photoscape on a Mac. Thank you Quote Ipad Affinity Photo
Wosven Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 A link to the video is more helpfull: You can do this in a "reverse" way in AP: Or: Alfred 1 Quote
Nadar Posted July 27, 2021 Author Posted July 27, 2021 Thanks Wosven 😉 -The video of Photoscape has not the same tools than AP. -How can you use the brush wich is in the Photo menu while the mask is in the selection menu ? Quote Ipad Affinity Photo
Wosven Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 Look at the buttons I show with the arrows, ne need to go in the menu, just check the contextual toolbar on top. You should have the same (somewhere) on the iPad. Quote
Nadar Posted July 27, 2021 Author Posted July 27, 2021 Thanks I am on an Ipad, so I have not the same buttons as you have. I think I found it : for the ipad version one must click on the studio layers menu and click on the + icon to set a mask. Quote Ipad Affinity Photo

How can I solve that ? Quote Ipad Affinity Photo
