Hi 😉

I should like to brighten a part of hair in a portrait to get some details in it.

Is there a way to do it with a mask as a brush ?

I mean to paint a mask in a part of hair with a brush that creates red aeras to see where I work.

The idea is not to need a selection to go faster.

Here is a screen shot of the idea with Photoscape on a Mac.

Thank you

Thanks Wosven 😉

-The video of Photoscape has not the same tools than AP.

-How can you use the brush wich is in the Photo menu while the mask is in the selection menu ?

Look at the buttons I show with the arrows, ne need to go in the menu, just check the contextual toolbar on top.

You should have the same (somewhere) on the iPad.

Thanks

I am on an Ipad, so I have not the same buttons as you have.

I think I found it : for the ipad version one must click on the studio layers menu and click on the + icon to set a  mask.

Thank you so much for your explanation DM1 😉

Another question, when I do that and after having drawned an area (for instance an eye) with the brush when I select the TSL setting, the colors got are mixed…

For instance if I try a blue eye it always mixed with other colors.

How can I solve that ?
