Hello @roderick w and welcome to the forums.

Apart from the fact that there is no Pro version of Affinity Photo, Affinity Photo is compatible with Mojave and High Sierra.

Affinity Photo is compatible with Catalina and Big Sur and I'm sure will be compatible with Monterey (still in beta)

As far as my experience goes Affinity Photo is very stable on High Sierra.

If OP was referring to ProPhoto RGB colour space which is indeed selectable in Affinity. Should be no problem.

PS CS6 works much better with Mojave than CS5.
