Franck*70 Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 Hi, is it possible to cut through a layer of solid colour with a text that has been converted to curves leaving the background visible through the deleted text in designer? Quote
NotMyFault Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 Normally you would nest the layer to the text / curves to make them visible inside the text. This would be the preferred solution if you can rearrange the layers. Otherwise, You could use blend mode erase for the text, but this will lead to rasterized exports. Brian_J Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 If the solid color is a curves layer you can cut another curves layer out of it. With the “text” layer (that has been converted to curves) above the solid color layer, select both layers, then Layer > Object > Subtract (or via the Subtract button in the Toolbar).
