Where did my fonts go?

WIndows 10/Laptop/Affinity Designer - all updated.  

Yesterday all my fonts were there, today many of them are missing. 
I went to reinstall the font I needed, but when I did, Windows told me the font was already installed. I reinstalled it anyway then rebooted, but still most of the fonts are missing. 

The weird thing is, it looks like most of the pre-installed fonts are missing. Unless 'Betazed' and 'Klingon" are standard fonts. 😂

Are the ‘missing’ fonts available in other apps such as WordPad or MS Paint?

If you have installed multiple versions of the fonts, the Affinity fonts cache may so confused it shows nothing.

Check both the system Fonts folder and your user Fonts folder to see if there are any duplicate files.
If there are duplicate files, un-install the fonts, delete the remaining duplicates, then re-install the fonts.

The fonts worked in every other program, except Affinity Designer. 
Apparently the only way to correct the issue is to UNinstall AD, Reboot, & Reinstall AD.

However, once you reinstall you can't open any file from any program without getting a Blank File Open Window. So After Reinstalling AD, you need to reboot again to clear up that little issue. 

Everything is working again now.
