Hi there, I watched a lot of tutorials before I decided to write this:

It should be possible to use the filltool to fill a shape with a bitmap for example to proof if a seamless pattern is alright. But everytime I hit the bitmap-option in the filltool nothing happens instead of showing me ipgs or pngs I could use….why????

Which application are you using?

It works for me using Affinity Photo, but not using the retail release of Affinity Designer. (It does seem to work in the current beta release of Designer.)

It doesn’t work for me if I tap on the current ‘Type’ choice to display the other options, but it seems to work OK if I tap on the ‘>’ or ‘<‘ icons to scroll across to the ‘Bitmap’ option.

I can confirm this is a known bug which is logged with our devs, I'll be sure to 'bump' this report now for you both - many thanks :)
