Downloading Affinity Publisher from App Store

I have been struggling to download the affinity publisher App  from the Apple App Store. Now I have managed to download it from your website and install it on my iMac. However, how do I open the software and link it with the fact that I paid via App Store? In other words how do I acquire a product Key, and be a valid user of the software?

Hi @Janine Pretorius Welcome to the forums.

You'll want to remove the version you've downloaded from our store as it will only be a trial as you don't have a purchased product key to enter (only purchases from our store have keys to enter). Purchases from the Mac App Store can't be linked to your Affinity Store account and visa versa. So you will want to login to the Mac App Store and download your purchased version from there as it's pre-authorised (no key the enter).

In terms of issues downloading there is very little we can advise as you are downloaded direct from the App Store servers. Try logging out of the App Store app, restarting your system and logging back in again.

It might help if you explained what problem(s) you are having when trying to download APub from the Mac App Store.
