Really great technique, Johnny. Now when are you going to upload the native Affinity Designer file so we can just copy and paste the layer as you suggested?  :P

Just wanted to add a quick thank you.  I really appreciate the effort of putting things like this together and the kindness in sharing them broadly.  It is terrifically helpful to people like me who are still learning the program, both in showing the effect and in showing how easily it can be done.  Thanks Johny.

Thanks Johny! Lazy? Haha, naw, just a believer in efficiency :) Think about it, if only 100 people save 3 minutes each because they don't have to recreate the effect, you will have advanced human evolution by 5 hours!!!!      :P

Seriously though, it think it's an ingenious way to do it and hope the Devs integrate it into the default live/filter...

Thanks guys :)

I'm wondering if there's an easy way to turn this into a macro, that would setup most of this in one click but I think it may be a problem with grouping and layer selection.

Wow! What a great and flexible tool! Really love the Curves feature demonstrated at about 4:45 in the vid!

Thanks for sharing.
