RickyD
I’d there any way that a filter may be out in place later to import .indd filed directly rather than .idml? Also, is there plans to have a program from affinity to compete with Adobe Acrobat Pro? Will Publisher ever have a native QR code generator inside the program? Old Bruce
Hi and welcome to the forums @RickyD I think we will never see a way to import INDD files. It is a mugs game requiring many hundreds (initially thousands) of hours of reverse engineering the format and it will result in a less than 100% accurate translation due to differences in capabilities of the two applications. That INDD format will change frequently as Adobe makes changes to their file format, and then there are hundreds of hours of work required again for another less than 100% accurate translation. I doubt there will be an Affinity product to compete with Acrobat Pro. Many people are requesting a QR generator for the Affinity applications, I have no idea if it will come to pass. So, No, No, and I don't know, maybe or maybe not. These are just my opinions based on my observations and experience. Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.2 Affinity Designer 2.3.1 | Affinity Photo 2.3.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.3.1 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
