Cropping given but expands or reduces the area of the static parameters.

Recommended Posts

Hello.

Can I express in the region such as Photoshop 5x5 cm 300 dpi so that I could stretch the crop area while preserving crop?
The affinity photo unfortunately if I ask paraetry trim and then change the clipping region parameters change trim.

Thanks.

Hi GrayGoodman! Welcome to the forum :)

This isn't currently possible in Affinity Photo. It is a feature that has been requested several times before

A workaround would be to use the Crop Tool's Custom Ratio option to set 5x5 and then use Document > Resize Document... to the set the DPI making sure you have Resample un-ticked.

Hi Leigh, thanks for the answer.

It is something like running, but uncomfortable. Although temporarily satisfied. I'll wait for the introduction of this feature.

And what about the ability to not delete crop space?

The crop in Affinity Photo is already non-destructive. If you go back into the Crop Tool and make the crop selection bigger, you will see the image reappear :)
