IanGreig
I am applying a bilateral blur filter for sharpening and the process requires blending one of the duplicated layers to vivid light and then inverting it. How does this translate to Affinity iPad i.e. how does one invert a blend without the desktop shortcut of Ctl-I?
Alfred
I don’t understand what you mean by ‘invert a blend mode’ but you can invert a layer by adding an Invert adjustment via the Adjustments Studio and nesting it to the target layer to restrict its scope. IanGreig
In Affinity Photo Mac OS you can set a blend mode -- e.g. 'Vivid Light' -- and then invert it, Ctl-I which effectively reverts it. This is used in bilateral blur sharpening. So my question is, how can I replicate what I do on this layer by Ctl-I on the iOS app where I can't use keyboard commands? DM1
@IanGreigCtl-I (invert selection is available on iPad version. If you don’t have a keyboard simply select the adjustment layer and tap Channel Studio. Find the adjustment channel and tap the round circle with three dots in it. Tap the 'Invert' at top of pop up menu. Done.🙂 Paul Mudditt 1 Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen).
