problem of several functions on ipad air 4

hello, i have several problems with affinity photo, many functions do not work including dodge and burn, lighting and many other functions. I bought the app the day before yesterday and I don't understand why it is not working. has anyone ever had this problem? the application is however up to date. may be a problem with the settings? Thanks for your help.

Worry not, all the functions work. Make sure you invest the time to watch as many of the official Serif tutorials otherwise you will get very frustrated. You need to learn about the layer studio and the the different types of layers. In general those tools will only work on a pixel layer and not an image layer. So make sure you rasterise your image layer first, it should say pixel in the layers studio.
