PepGold
The "Typographical variables" works fantastic when setting the font size, but I can't use them when trying to adjust the leading values. It is as if the decimal points aren't honoured. Meaning 12,500 ends up being 12500. Additional question. Is there a way to calculate the distance between xheight and capheight? You can't just go 20mm/x-c, I assume it doesn't work because capheight isn't set or known.

Even if it isn’t, the app may be treating it as though it is. 37 minutes ago, belief-begin-conjoin said: Is there a way to calculate the distance between xheight and capheight? Specifying 20mm/x will set the x-height of the text to 20mm but I can’t see how the c value would be used in your example. It doesn't matter if I use . or , as decimal separator. 2021-07-11.mov Alfred

It should not make any difference here but note that you are setting Leading Override, not Leading. Regardless, I cannot duplicate this problem on my Mac, not with Filler text or regular text. The leading override field accepts fractional pt values when I type them in manually.
