shustovcreates
Man... Im speechless. Im literally just gave affinity another chance and there it is again. The most stupid issue you can ever imagine, making it impossible to complete your task. BTW it seems my ipad doesnt have this issue Edit: I was wrong, its the same thing 1.9.2.1035 I regret spending my money on affinity I mean.. WHY?? Is it HARD? also theres a post with same issue from 5 months ago:https://graphicdesign.stackexchange.com/questions/144848/affinity-designer-how-can-i-preserve-a-stroke-cap-when-i-expand-stroke 2021-07-10 16-30-12.mp4 stroke.afdesign
G13RL
Hi @shustovcreates, You created your circles with the "Donut" tool, create them with the "Ellipse Tool" instead, convert them to curves and "Expand Stroke" will work as expected. EDIT: Attached is an afdesign file with the recorded history. untitled.afdesign Edited July 10, 2021 by G13RL Add file shustovcreates

G13RL
Sorry, but according to your file, it was "Donut Tool". I'm afraid you'll have to do it again.

Thats how I created it. So anyway, I expanded stroke in illustrator and everything looks fine to me. Thank you for help and giving this useful info 2021-07-10 17-37-58.mp4
G13RL
Thanks for the video. I just looked further, if you start from a donut, set "Hole Radius" to 100%, convert to curves, remove the unwanted part and the ends remain rounded after "Expand Stroke". G13RL
With "Pie Tool", leave it as it is at the beginning of your video, convert it into curves, remove the unwanted part and do "Expand Stroke", the ends will remain rounded.
