Word outline fade out whenever on top of a layer, please advise?

I do not understand why the word ending "da" outline has been fade out whenever on top of a layer, please advise?

Enclosed my file & outcome to compare.

Hi @Darwin Lau and welcome!

The blend mode on the outline Effect for your text has been set to Soft Light:

 

 

One way to improve the result would be to change the blend mode to Normal:

 

(I don't have the font you've used but the results should be the same.)

Although that gets rid of the fading, it also noticeably flattens the outline:

Try Multiply Blend mode
