Sungil Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 I purchased Affinity Photo a few days ago and have downloaded a few photos from the 'View Sample Photos' window samples from the pop-up window when I start the Affinity app. For the future, I would like to know where those sample photos are downloaded onto in my computer. I could not locate them even after searching all my computer after downloading them. Quote
R C-R Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 You don't say if you are a Mac or Windows user but on Macs, if you open one of the samples & choose "Reveal in Finder" from the File menu, it will show that the file is in one of the private/var folders. Files in this folder are emptied on restart of the Mac so they won't continue to use file space. Also note that they are locked so you cannot save changes to them. Sungil Posted July 10, 2021 Author Posted July 10, 2021 Thanks for your reply. But I was referring to Windows version. What about on Windows? Quote

Do the same thing, except on Windows it's File > Open Folder in Explorer rather than Reveal in Finder.
